Trash Runner

Unable to alter their ways in time, human-led climate change has melted the ice caps flooding the world and destroying the coastal cities and large swaths of the interior of the continents. 

The great pacific garbage, originally created through negligent disposal of single-use goods and discarded fishing nets, has increased in size, fed by the remnants of destroyed cities.

Due to the fallout of the collapse, the human population has been greatly reduced. 

Out of the ashes, a new floating society is emerging and cleaning up the garbage patch. 

Trash runners compete to see who can clean up the patch the fastest. 

You must race to clean up as much trash as possible, depositing it at barges and rigs for credits you can use to upgrade your boat.
